Anja’s lifelong love for the natural world was nurtured amidst the lush landscapes of Washington and Hawaii. Her journey led her through the vibrant pulse of city life, but her heart drew her back to the serene beauty of the Northwest. Here, she found a passion for blending plants and gardening with her love of art, and creative expression, to enhance everyday living. When she’s not curating Havencraft’s enchanting ambiance, Anja can be found singing and writing songs, working in the garden, crafting beautiful adornments, or exploring nature’s trails.
Matthew’s affinity for woodworking stems from his childhood spent exploring the rich forests of Washington. Surrounded by abundant natural inspiration, he pursued an art degree with a focus on painting before discovering his passion for woodworking. Through apprenticeships and hands-on experience, Matthew honed his craft, evolving into a custom carpenter and contractor. His work now seamlessly blends various media to create striking, functional pieces of art that enhance every space they inhabit.
